Kentico Software, the Web Content and Customer Experience Management provider, today announced Kentico’s content management solution is listed as part of Monochrome Ltd.’s digital web solutions in the CloudStore, a UK Government initiative designed to encourage adoption of cloud services across the public sector.
Dozens of councils, NHS, education, policing, museum and tourism organisations across Great Britain and Northern Ireland are already using Kentico to deliver their web content and manage customer experience, allowing developers and marketers to avoid costly development and integration costs while enabling faster time to market. Now Kentico's offering is conveniently available via the Government’s G-Cloud network.
The CloudStore is an online marketplace that allows public sector organisations to search for scalable, pay-as-you-go commodity services that are covered by the G-Cloud framework without having to run a competitive procurement bid. With CloudStore, public sector bodies can avoid long contracts, buy the exact amount of computing resources they need, save money on maintenance and physical storage, and avoid time-consuming and expensive custom-build solutions that are difficult to upgrade.
Monochrome Ltd was added to the CloudStore as a new Crown Commercial Service Provider after a meticulous six-month vetting process. Catering to such well-known brands as the BBC and Premier Foods, Monochrome’s CloudStore listing can be viewed at govstore.service.gov.uk/.
“The requirements of web development and content management have become increasingly demanding in the 15 years since we first started doing business,” said Adrian Munn, Director of Monochrome Ltd, a UK-based digital agency specialising in design development and delivery of web application and interface design. “But with all that Kentico offers out of the box, we’re able to help government organisations move away from laborious and cost-prohibitive processes toward agile and rapid development methodologies at reduced cost.”
“The UK Government’s G-Cloud initiative is revolutionising the procurement processes for public sector organisations, and we’re proud to be furthering their ability to streamline, innovate and reduce cost through our creative partners at Monochrome Ltd.,” said Kentico CEO and Founder Petr Palas. “We congratulate Monochrome for being accepted into the G-Cloud along with our solution, and we’re looking forward to demonstrating just how much government organisations can accomplish with our combined offering.”
