Absolute® Software Corporation, the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, today announced that Gartner, Inc. has rated its client management solution, Absolute Manage®, in its June 13, 2014 Critical Capabilities for Client Management Tools Report.
Gartner gave Absolute Manage the highest score of 4.7 out of 5 for Cross-Platform Support and tied for third-highest score of 4.4 out of 5 for Administration and Usage out of the 14 vendors reviewed. Absolute believes the breadth of device coverage continues to be one of the strongest market differentiators for Absolute Manage. Customers can remotely manage all the devices in their deployments, including PC, Mac®, Android, iOS, and Windows® Phone devices, from within a single management console. IT can replace multiple systems with a single solution so they can easily determine the status of each device, conduct routine IT maintenance, manage enterprise mobility, and securely support the use of employee-owned devices to support user productivity.
“Mobility has transformed the enterprise. Employee satisfaction and productivity have increased, shared work is truly collaborative, and communication is no longer restricted by user or location. Absolute customers take advantage of these outcomes by applying a user-centric approach to mobility,” said Geoff Haydon, CEO at Absolute Software. “All of the devices used by employees including computers, tablets, and smartphones can be easily secured and managed through a single console. This approach ensures that the benefits of mobility are not inhibited by the security needs of the organization. It’s immensely satisfying to see, what we feel are the unique cross-platform capabilities of Absolute Manage, recognized by leading industry analysts at Gartner, Inc.”
