Sun Broadcast Group proudly unveiled its new brand identity today as it prepares for the upcoming 2015 season. The new company logo incorporates several changes that have taken place over its six years in business, including the addition of Sun Latino, while taking on a more colorful, moving design that represents the organizations unique approach to the network radio space. Each year Sun also unveils it’s corporate theme and tagline to accompany the new season. The 2014 theme,“Content That Picks You Up”, emphasized the positive approach Sun’s programming has taken with products like The Marilu Henner Show, Horse Racing’s Triple Crown, Mr. Movieman’s Six Second Reviews and AccuWeather en Espanol. The theme selected for 2015 is “Experience More” which will be better defined by the company’s groundbreaking program announcements coming later this summer.
“Since the day we opened our doors in 2008, we have taken great pride in how we present our brand to the public,” said Sun Broadcast Group CEO, Jason Bailey. “Our in house creative department designed the familiar ‘orange block’ a few years ago as we became a stronger, more solid partner to our clients. Today as the company prepares to take on exciting new initiatives that, I believe, will transform the industry, this new logo will connect all those elements together while still representing the strong, forward thinking company that we’ve become.”
Sun Broadcast Group Art Director, Jonathan Ruiz explained “While working on the rebrand, we wanted the new logo to have our familiar orange block somewhere in it, while still embodying the growth and evolution that the company is currently going through. We saw the opportunity to showcase the movement, progression and most of all, the fun, that Sun represents and I think we nailed it. I’m really excited to see the design finally taking shape across all media applications.”
Sun’s new website was also released today including pictures of how the creative team brought this exciting new look to the inside of Sun’s New York City and Boca Raton facilities.
