MZ, an Attitude company, the world’s largest independent investor relations company and the leading consultancy firm in financial market communications innovation, is sponsoring the 16th National Investor Relations and Capital Market Meeting, which will take place on July 22 and 23, at Fecomercio, in São Paulo.
The meeting is being held by the Brazilian Association of Publicly Held Companies (ABRASCA) and the Brazilian Institute of Investor Relations (IBRI). The presentations will be divided into six panels, which will discuss the macroeconomic and capital market outlook for Latin America, crisis management and Institutional Relations intelligence, among other issues.
"The higher number of companies listed on the stock exchange has fueled demand for services that improve communications with investors. In this scenario, the meeting has become an excellent opportunity to discuss the role of the IR area in companies and assess the sector outlook and trends," says Márcio Veríssimo de Moraes, MZ’s COO.
The event opening will take place on July 22, at 8:30 am., with the presence of Leonardo Pereira, president of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), Antonio D. C. Castro, president of ABRASCA and Geraldo Soares, chairman of the Board of Directors of IBRI.
André Dorf, CEO at CPFL Renováveis; Caio Marcelo de Medeiros Melo, Capital Market Supervisor at the BNDES; Luiz Fernando Rolla, Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer at CEMIG; and Barbara Gasper, Vice President of Investor Relations at Mastercard are some of the executives that will attend the event.
