The company, formed out of an amalgamation of three successful design businesses, Can Can Design, Gamalan and Websight, is based in Torquay, Devon and has experienced year on year growth working with national and international clients.
Specialising in branding, print design, social media and websites including those developed for smart phones, Insignia Creative is working with a wide range of clients such as family run restaurants and hotels to celebrities and international businesses such as Golf Resorts in Portugal and a website for a golf competition linked to Morocco Tourism Board.
“We’ve been steadily building up our clients over the years with many coming to us through word of mouth recommendations,” explained MD Richard Netherclift. “We are very busy with websites and more general marketing such as brochures and leaflets, social media and e-shots and are looking to take on a new developer and new designer to help with the workload.”
And he explained that there have been incredible advances in technology over the last five years with the growth of social media, a particular growth area for the businesses.
“Social media is no longer the haunt of teenagers talking about ‘what they did last night’ or ‘which party they are going to at the weekend’,” explained Richard. It’s a vital place for businesses to interact with customers, build their brand and gain valuable website traffic.”
He added: “With so many social media platforms available it can be difficult and confusing for businesses to choose which ones to use, so we guide them through that process for maximum effect.”
