Yardi will be an active participant in the Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations’ Rental Housing Conference 2014, which takes place June 9-11 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Along with serving as the Rental Housing Conference’s principal partner, Yardi is sending two of its industry experts to offer best practices and practical advice. Peter Altobelli, vice president of sales and general manager of Canadian operations at Yardi, will participate in a session addressing new ways to use automated payment processing systems to collect payments from residents.
Another session featuring Dharmendra Sawh, industry principal for revenue management, will focus on key elements of revenue management at Yardi, including software that enables timely capture of information and allows leasing agents to focus on sales rather than negotiating rents.
“The Rental Housing Conference is a tremendous opportunity to discover new approaches to managing apartment properties more efficiently. I encourage everyone there to look for Dhar and me and share your ideas,” said Altobelli.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about Yardi Voyager® 7S, the latest, most advanced Yardi Voyager platform that is tablet-compatible and works with all Internet browsers, as well as add-ons such as Yardi Energy Solutions™ (a service of YES Energy Management Inc.), a complete solution for utility expense management, energy management and sustainability services.
The Rental Housing Conference, attended by apartment association members, owners, managers, investors, executives and suppliers to the industry, comprises 31 education sessions organized into six topic streams.
