Charlotte, NC, United States, 2014/05/08 - Bobbi Jo Lazarus and Marie McLucas, the 2014 president and treasurer, of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Charlotte, received 2014 awards from the North Carolina’s Association for CPAs (NCACPA) in April - CREWNetwork.org.
Each year the association recognizes several contributors for their outstanding work, which sets the bar for all of their affiliates.
Bobbi Jo Lazarus, CPA, senior tax manager, at Elliott Davis, PLLC, was a winner of the Women to Watch Emerging Leader Award. This award recognizes a female CPA who has recently emerged as a significant contributor and professional leader in the accounting profession.
Marie McLucas, chief financial officer for Primax Properties, LLC, received the Women to Watch Experienced Leader Award. This award recognizes a female CPA with substantial career experience who has made significant contributions to the accounting profession, and/or who has demonstrated professional leadership throughout her career.
All award recipients were recognized during a special dinner held April 30, 2014, at the Grandover resort and conference center in Greensboro, N.C.
CREW Charlotte is a chapter of CREW Network (crewnetwork.org), whose mission is to influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women.
