(VT Systems), today announced that it will demonstrate how to reduce operator workload and increase development productivity through its complete line of industry-renowned simulation software at I/ITSEC 2013, December 2-5 (Booth #1225), in Orlando, Florida.
MÄK’s product kiosks feature:
• Re-energized simulation behaviors MÄK will present its powerful and flexible Computer Generated Forces (CGF) platform, VR-Forces, and demonstrate how it quickly and easily fills synthetic environments with urban, battlefield, maritime, and airspace activity. Visitors will experience VR-Forces’ newest capabilities, including reactive behavior, more realistic ship and submarine maneuvers, and support for naval electronic warfare environments.
• Amped up visual capabilities MÄK’s visualization suite, VR-Vantage, will display a full maritime environment, including a realistic and dynamic ocean layer with complex wave/sea state models. Visitors will learn how to incorporate sea swells, wind waves, and capillary waves both above and below water to their scenarios, as well as top-notch boat rocking models, realistic kelvin wakes, propeller wash, rotor wash, and rolling surf.
• An expansion of interoperability platforms and protocols MÄK is showcasing its entire HLA Evolved supported product line, continuing the company’s dedication to simulation interoperability. The company will also demonstrate how the MÄK WebLVC Server and the MÄK WebLVC Suite put the web to work for M&S to create interoperable web applications.
• Battle Command, MÄK’s low overhead Command Staff Trainer Battle Command empowers users to plan and fight the battle within a compelling simulated environment, as well as stimulate a variety of Command and Control systems, including TACP CASS, JADOCS, and C2PC via protocols like Cursor-on-Target or Link-16. It applies MÄK’s core competencies to solve customer program requirements.
This year MÄK is unveiling its training system demonstrator, which uses the company’s complete line of simulation software and lightweight web technologies to create a training system environment to suit both student and instructor training scenarios. Visitors can use the training system demonstrator to play the role of training instructor or task group commander, set in MÄK’s maritime training environment. The demonstrator includes all critical components of a training system including: custom high fidelity interfaces tailored to the specific needs of the student; light-weight role-player stations to cost effectively add part-task training; easy-to-use scenario authoring and powerful AI to generate rich and compelling simulated environments; informative visual presentations to maintain situational awareness, analyze training activities, and tell the scenario’s story; and innovative web-based instructor apps to control and dynamically influence the training exercise and to automate compelling presentations.
