Glasgow, United Kingdom, 2013/11/26 - Burton Snowboards have chosen Weather2 as their preferred provider of ski weather content for their flagship mobile app, which was created in partnership with Nokia Corporation - myWeather2.com / Weather2.co.uk.
Burton Snowboards have launched a flagship application exclusively for the Nokia Lumia phone. The app, which provides the latest snow forecasts for over 2600 resorts worldwide, is powered by Weather2 data. Further features of the Burton App include enhanced video recording, augmented reality, ride tracking, Burton’s own Tune UP playlist, and web cam views. The app has been met with rave reviews, scoring 4.5 out of 5 stars in the official Windows Phone App Store.
Matt Collins, Director of Application and Partner Marketing at Nokia, New York stated,“Lumia has industry-leading imaging capabilities, and this is a fun and useful way to show & bring them to life,”
