Toyota Ukraine has selected a dedicated space at the Kuehne + Nagel shared warehouse facility (encompassing more than 37,000 sqm) in Chayka, near Kiev, for the storage and handling of over 8,000 spare parts to serve the Ukrainian market.
Orders are processed directly from the Toyota Parts Centre Europe into the Chayka facility where Kuehne + Nagel employees work closely together with Toyota Ukraine to ensure fast picking and packing of the shipments. Since the warehouse became operational, the delivery time of spare parts has been reduced to one day throughout the Ukraine.
"We are very pleased to have been selected by such an important company as Toyota Ukraine. Toyota has the highest quality standards and expects the same from its business partners and service providers. We are confident that the combination of our strengths will create a real win-win-situation for both Toyota Ukraine and Kuehne + Nagel,” said Viktor Shkarban, Managing Director of Kuehne + Nagel Ukraine.
Toyota (toyota.eu) operates 75 manufacturing companies across 28 countries globally, and markets vehicles in more than 170 countries, thanks to the support of a 320,000-strong workforce.
