eZonia FZE, a leading specialized firm offering marketing and management consultancy services in the Middle East, has announced the signing of a strategic new partnership agreement with ByzAlliance Turkey, an international medical travel and medical consulting firm, for the promotion of medical tourism across the Middle East region. The move is expected to help bolster eZonia’s aim towards expanding its presence in the Middle East North African (MENA) region by entering into new partnerships. The newly-formed alliance is seen to reinforce the medical tourism markets of both Turkey and the UAE leveraging the wide spectrum of medical expertise and showcasing key ‘Hospital Excellency’ programs offered by the two countries.
Under the terms of the agreement, eZonia will provide ByzAlliance Turkey with its diverse portfolio of consultancy services, which range from general assessment, change management to benefits realization. The new partnership proves to be very timely as recent market reports have named Turkey as a growing favorite destination for medical tourism, generating over USD 1 billion in revenues. In fact, the Turkish government is aiming at doubling medical tourist numbers to half a million a year in the next 24 months, while also raising generated revenues to USD 7 billion by attracting them to higher-margin healthcare. Meanwhile, a medical health tourism survey has placed the UAE among the world’s top 20 destinations for medical tourism. The ranking has prompted industry experts to predict that the number of medical tourists receiving treatment in the country will reach millions annually by the end of the decade, potentially pumping billions of dollars into the economy.
