GE announced today the appointment of Mr. Bo Liu as president for GE’s Power Conversion business in China. Mr. Liu was most recently the regional leader for GE Oil & Gas and has more than 15 years experience working for GE.
In his new role, Mr. Liu will oversee the development of long-term business and operational strategies for GE Power Conversion in the Greater China region. Mr. Liu brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience having held various leadership positions in GE China, including marketing development, cross business sales, customer CEO programs, government relations, Olympic verticals and P&L leadership.

The headquarters for GE's Power Conversion business are located in Shanghai along with its research and development center and a drives factory. Power Conversion also has a motor factory in Yantai, together with a sales center in Beijing and application engineering presence in Wuhan.
