Cision announced that its Marketing and PR software was named a finalist for the 2013 SIIA Software CODiE Awards for Best Marketing Automation Solution. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier award for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for 27 years.
"We are honored that Cision was recognized as a finalist in the marketing automation category. Our software is about campaign management providing our clients with a set of tools to help them manage all aspects of their brands, from targeting influencers and amplifying content to monitoring and measuring the impact of their stories on reputations", said Peter Granat, president & CEO, Cision.
"Being a CODiE finalist reaffirms Cision's role in the rapidly converging space between marketing and PR and paid, earned, owned, and shared media. Our software is helping to bridge the gap across all these functions", said Granat.
The marketing automation category recognizes the best solution for automating the development and management of customer, promotional, and/or media communications. This includes marketing automation, campaign automation, marketing intelligence, and advanced workflow automation. Other finalists in this category include: Eloqua, Marketo, and Ontraport.
"The CODiE Awards competition was extremely competitive this year, and all of the finalists should be commended for their innovative products and services," said Rhianna Collier, VP for the Software Division at SIIA. "We look forward to honoring the winners at our awards program in May at All About the Cloud." Details about each finalist are listed at siia.net/codies/2013/finalists.asp
