Fleet, Hampshire, United Kingdom, 2007/01/19 - Media Logic is providing its iSeeCommunications interactive solution for Addprotec’s sales and marketing and support teams to allow them to undertake sales presentations and technical support online for their innovative flexible circuit machines.
From their Head Office in Market Harborough in the UK to anywhere in the world, iSeeCommunications from Media Logic Systems Ltd, enables Addprotec’s prospective customers to see remotely the machines in action reducing the need to travel, shortening sales cycles and improving the speed and quality of support.
The iSeeCommunications platform has been configured specifically to deliver audio/video/multi-media solutions to meet Addprotec’s requirements. Its web-based platform means that it has been tailored easily to Addprotec’s immediate requirements and is able to develop and grow as the use of this type of interaction evolves.
Through a link on the Addprotec website a customer connects to the iSeeCommunications service and enters their name. The customer doesn’t need to have any new application loaded on to their PC to receive an iSeeCommunications presentation. The presenter can then display a variety of content on the customer’s PC and (optionally) the customer site can be seen through a camera connected to their PC. Audio communications are usuaally via a telephone conference with the option to transfer to be part of the iSeeCommunications service.
The content available for the presenter to display includes video of the presenter, PowerPoint presentations and local screen capture images (screen windows or regions). Also live video of the machine area either a general view or a mobile detail camera view are available.
External website access including the web based machine control server also can be used within the presentation material.
The presenter may be located at any location with broadband Internet service. Layouts with and without video are available for those who may have local bandwidth constraints. An operator in the machine room will be connected through the telephony conference and will also be able to view the local camera image. Camera remote control is also available.
Andy Brown, CEO Media Logic Systems Ltd. said…“During this period of “Carbon Emission Awareness” industries are looking at ways of reducing emissions through reduced travel and focusing on alternatives ways of communicating more efficiently.
Media Logics’ iSeeCommunications solution for Addprotec gets their business development team plus a live working demonstration of the unique process machinery, in front of the customer on demand. This is a “win-win” situation for both customer and supplier generating huge cost savings and rapid response during the pre-sales and after-care periods. The key to the success of iSeeCommunications over other applications is that the customer is able to take part without the barrier of having to undertake any initial application installations on their PC; for this reason it can be used on impulse, making a much more useful approach.”
David Potter, Commercial Director, Addprotec said…“ Media Logic’s iSeeCommunications system, has given us the ability to very significantly shorten our sales cycle - as over 90% of our prospects are based globally. Using the Medialogic platform has enabled us to immediately demonstrate to both decision makers and influencers our ‘green’ manufacturing system for high volume flexible electronic circuits, being, for example, the lowest cost process for the production of RFID tag antenna.”
