Swyft Mobile, the mobile division of Swyft Technology, is excited to announce the release of version 2.5 of Swyft Mobile. A key component of this new version is an enhanced user experience (UX) and enhanced user interface (UI). While version 2.5 has many of the same key features as previous versions, the UX is not only more uniform across major platforms, but also more uniform across a variety of touch ready devices. In addition, the enhanced UI allows for:
- easier data entry;
- more accessible menus;
- higher quality image and content display.
Swyft Mobile Version 2.5, as with previous versions, supports the most commonly used devices and operating systems, such as iOS and Android. In addition, version 2.5 integrates with the Swyft Platform, as did previous versions. Via the Swyft Platform, Swyft Mobile is able to pull and push data from multiple enterprise grade databases, including SalesForce, SAP, and Oracle to name a few. This allows for a seamless integration between Swyft Mobile, and important back office processes. Geolocation remains an important feature, as does the creation, pushing, and processing of sales and service tasks in the field related to the user’s geolocation. Sales and service orders can be submitted to the back office for processing via one click. Field personnel also have access to critical documents and websites via internal links.
While Swyft succeeded in maintaining the same great features contained in previous versions, Swyft also succeeded in creating a better UI. With the creation of left-hand slide-in menus, navigation is more intuitive and parallels many other major apps navigation systems. User productivity is thereby increased via more convenient data access and input, as well as user adoption. Version 2.5 also now includes electronic signature capture so that agreements between the business and customer can be executed in real time, in the field. Finally, additional data validation rules eliminate common errors, and improve the quality of inputted data.
Swyft has also succeeded in creating a better UX. Since image quality is higher, and load times are faster, users can input data quickly and with ease. Version 2.5 now supports a wider range of touch devices, allowing users to choose whichever touch device they feel most comfortable using, without compromise to the UX (BYOD). Finally, with more readily accessible menus, users can more easily navigate the application, and access commonly used functionality.
Swyft Mobile had the user in mind with the release of version 2.5. CEO, Steve Philips noted,“As technology plays a bigger role in business activities in the field, Swyft understands that key to creating a great product is not only robust functionality, but also, a very positive UX across all devices.” Swyft is confident that both those in and out of the field will enjoy the enhancements Swyft Mobile version 2.5 has to offer.
