At the Randstad Awards ceremony on March 21, 2013, Safran companies Techspace Aero and Snecma won recognition as, respectively, the most attractive employer in Belgium and the fifth most attractive employer in France in the category "capital and intermediate goods".
Human resources specialist Randstad publishes an annual survey on companies’ employer brands and attractiveness. It is based on a representative sampling of employees and job-seekers between the ages of 18 and 65, who are asked about the criteria that influence their decision to work for a given company.
Techspace Aero wins this distinction as the most attractive employer in Belgium for the third time. According to the survey conducted by Randstad Belgium, covering 14,000 persons, Techspace Aero, specialized in components and subassemblies for aircraft and rocket engines, stood out because of its excellent workplace atmosphere and job content.
Snecma was ranked for this first time in this survey, as the fifth most attractive employer in France, in the category "capital and intermediate goods". According to the survey by Randstad France, covering 11,000 persons, Snecma, a leading manufacturer of aircraft and rocket engines, earned this distinction for its compensation policy, the interest of the jobs being offered and the quality of its training programs. The survey also showed that the primary factor mentioned by respondents was the financial health of this Safran company.
"We are obviously delighted to be recognized as one of the most attractive employers," said Jean-Luc Bérard, Safran Vice President, Human Resources. "This award reflects the efforts we have made in recent years to give our employees an environment in which they can realize their full potential. Furthermore, these rankings consolidate the increased recognition gained by Safran following the rollout of our employer brand advertising campaign last year. We will be recruiting some 7,000 new employees once again this year, including nearly half in France."
