Barrie, Ontario, Canada, 2013/03/12 - Datassimilate Systems, Inc. will join other legal and software experts at the first-of-its-kind e-discovery conference sponsored by the University of Florida and the EDRM team - PowerSearchSoftware.com.
Datassimilate Systems Inc., a leading Canadian developer of the new generation of e-discovery software, will join other North American legal and software experts at the first-of-its-kind e-discovery conference sponsored by the University of Florida Levin College of Law and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model on April 4-5, 2013 in Gainsville, Florida.
"Datassimilate is pleased to be invited to demonstrate its unique pay-as-you-go PowerSearch software alongside other e-discovery developers," says Girts Jansons, president of Datassimilate Systems Inc. "As the conference is recommended for law practitioners looking to improve their knowledge of the latest developments in e-discovery in small and medium cases, our presentation will enable attendees to see the benefits of the Powersearch Software which does not require any upfront investment. Rather than paying to buy the software, legal firms need only pay for those files they wish to download."
“E-discovery is a rapidly changing field and I hope many firms will appreciate the value of sending staff to the conference” added Jansons. Although the conference will also be streamed live, online, there are incredible advantages to seeing the various software programs in action and talking with the innovators. "I always look forward to hearing about firms' individual challenges and discussing how PowerSearch can provide a fast, efficient and particularly cost-effective solution."
Electronic Discovery for the Small and Medium Case will be held at the UF Law campus and will also be available as a live, online stream. A wide array of national experts will discuss how to competently and cost-effectively handle e-discovery in small and medium cases and will shed light on the latest developments in Florida and federal e-discovery rules. The conference also will feature demonstrations of the latest e-discovery software and tools for each phase of the e-discovery process, for matters ranging from the most humble lawsuit to the largest mega-case. The conference is part of the UF Law’s E-Discovery Project, and is underwritten by the International Center for Automated Information Research, a University of Florida foundation established to promote innovation in information technology. Attendees will be eligible to receive 11.5 CLE credits.
Registration is $199 for in-person participants or $99 for those who wish to attend via live stream. Visit law.ufl.edu to register today. Each in-person attendee will receive a toolkit of trial licenses for e-discovery software used to preserve and collect electronically stored information (ESI) from desktops to the web; convert collected ESI to usable forms; perform rapid, powerful searches; and facilitate production of relevant, responsive ESI. In addition, representatives from AccessData, Catalyst, Digital WarRoom, iConect, LexisNexis Litigation Solutions, Nuix, Pinpoint Labs, X1 Discovery and others will also be on hand to demonstrate their products.
