Apriso, a leading provider of manufacturing software solutions, today announced total revenue growth for the past seven years exceeded 20 percent per year, as a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR). Over that same period, software revenue grew by a CAGR of 31 percent. The year 2012 was the seventh consecutive year that Apriso grew total revenue.
“Over the past 12 months we have seen a continued focus whereby many of the world’s leading global manufacturers now recognize the importance of managing worldwide operations more holistically. This change is in response to a need for greater agility when dealing with increasingly complex customer demands and dynamic supply chains. These challenges require a more technologically sophisticated approach to manufacturing operations management,” said Jim Henderson, president and CEO of Apriso.
“Increasingly, more of our customers are making an enterprise decision to address these complexities and challenges by establishing a global manufacturing strategy to streamline and manage production more effectively,” continued Henderson.
Apriso saw this shift across a number of industry segments, including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Industrial, Powertrain, Tobacco, Energy, Consumer Goods, Food and High Tech. This new activity validates the diversity of industries that now need to move towards globally networked manufacturing operations.
Over the past five years, Apriso has signed 55 new global manufacturing customers, and went live at 181 new sites. Benefits of implementing a global platform for manufacturing operations management include better continuous process (and knowledge) improvement, greater process consistency to leverage best practices on a global scale, reduced costs, and improved quality and agility.
New Product Announcements
In 2012, Apriso launched a second version of FlexNet Manufacturing Process Intelligence (MPI) to provide an unprecedented level of real-time visibility for improved manufacturing and supply chain performance. MPI was a successful new product launch, with five customer implementations in progress by the end of 2012.
Apriso continued to expand its suite of solution offerings tailored to specific industries to help companies meet their most demanding manufacturing challenges. These include global product traceability solutions for the Automotive and Medical Device Industries, which are now helping leading manufacturers ensure better track and trace, genealogy and data standardization while meeting specific global supply chain and production challenges.
In addition, Apriso announced general availability of Apriso for Manufacturing, the first Windows 8 application designed specifically for manufacturers. Apriso's Manufacturing Process Intelligence solution is an ideal complement to Microsoft’s Business Intelligence solutions, providing real-time visibility to manufacturing operations performance to accelerate responsiveness to change while supporting global continuous improvement.
