National residential real estate brokerage ZipRealty has introduced several new online search features to help consumers find the perfect home, including the ability to map out a home's proximity to public transportation in major U.S. cities, enhanced school performance data and the ability to identify homes with ground floor master bedrooms or located in designated "active retirement" communities.
In addition, ZipRealty has also added a new feature that measures the relative interest and popularity of specific home listings compared to other local properties, based on the number of viewings by site visitors over the past 30 days.

In detail, the new ZipRealty features and tools include:

Two new search functions have been added under the "property details" section that aid buyers search for homes with ground-floor master bedrooms or for homes in designated retirement or "active-boomer" communities.
* Enhanced School Data
This feature allows clients to determine local school performance levels by comparing results of nearby schools to standardized district and state tests. Found under the "school data" tab, test scores on the school, district, and state level are displayed side-by-side in a bar graph.
* Mapping Transit Hubs
Consumers in major U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Los Angles, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area and Washington, D.C., can view the proximity of major transit hubs to active home listings on ZipRealty's interactive map feature.
* Relative Interest
Accessed through a home's detail page, this tool allows users to determine the popularity of a listing by measuring how many people have viewed a particular property on the ZipRealty Website relative to how many people have viewed other properties in the area within the last 30 days. A scale of one through 10 is used with 10 indicating the highest level of interest.
