Openet, a global leader of real-time transaction management software for network operators, today announced that it has been awarded the Irish Software Association (ISA) Software Industry Award for ISA Outstanding Company of the Year. Winners were announced on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the ISA Awards Gala at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.
As a recipient of the award, the ISA recognized Openet for demonstrating an outstanding performance over the past year, combining aspects of technical innovation, sales achievements and successful partnering strategies. The company has proven its leadership by attracting several Tier One carriers, broadband providers, strategic partners and investors to trust in Openet’s innovative products, market vision and future growth. This is the second time that Openet has taken this top award, having first been recognized as Company of the Year in 2009.
“Over the past year Openet has put a major focus on innovation with the creation of Openet Labs, a research and development center focused on developing new technologies, services and business models,” said Niall Norton, CEO of Openet. “We recognize the mobile industry has presented new challenges for operators and we’re committed to providing the strategies and solutions to enable our customers and partners to navigate these obstacles, identify new revenue channels and improve their subscribers’ experience.”
The ISA Software Industry Awards were established to celebrate companies who have achieved exceptional success, developed innovative technologies and partnerships and achieved significant sales results over the past year. The judging panel included startups, internationally trading organizations, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, sponsors and state agencies. This year the ISA celebrates 34 years working with software and technology companies in Ireland.
