Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 2012/09/21 - OHM Cycles introduces customization to its electric bike line for 2013. New add-on components let customers choose which features they want to pay for. The new models can be ordered as early as October 2012 to be shipped in Spring 2013 - OHMcycles.com.
OHM Cycles this week announced new options to customize the pricing and features of its 2013 electric bicycle models. Customers can choose whether they want to add on some of the three components offered – rear carry rack, custom fenders, or LED lighting – or save money by buying the base bike with no features, which they can still add later on. The pricing for these customized models starts at $2,899.00.
Michael DeVisser, the CEO of OHM Cycles, explains: “The optional components are all designed to give OHM customers a safer, more convenient, and comfortable cycling experience. By allowing our customers to choose which of the add-ons they want to pay for, we are giving them the option of affordability. And, because the components will always be available for purchase, customers can buy them later if they decide they want them after all.”
The 2013 e-bikes come in a mountain bike and commuter bike model, both powered by s noise-less, vibration-less BionX 350 high torque motor. Both are equipped with a 37V 9.6Ah LiMn battery that can fuel up to 90 km (55 miles) on one charge. New Schwalbe Energizer Plus tires are made specially for e-bikes, constructed with a high-quality compound with good grip and low rolling friction.
Customers can start ordering the new models as early as October 2012 to be shipped in Spring 2013, through the OHM Factory Store or OHM Authorized Dealers.
