About The Kitchen Dresser Company
The Kitchen Dresser Company (TheKitchenDresser.co.uk) manufacture furniture for the kitchen that includes; painted dressers, kitchen sideboards, painted tables and chairs.
I started The Kitchen Dresser Company in 2004, although the seed was sown decades before with my childhood love of wood. Brought up in a cottage in Weston Patrick, Hampshire, the original built-in bespoke kitchen dresser in our country kitchen was the core of our home. Made by the local village carpenter in 1909 it was laden with English china and made an impression that has yet to leave me. So it was that my great appreciation of nature and deep affection of the countryside began.
Our family-run company based in workshops within the Victorian buildings of Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, where the talented team of local craftsman, painters and finishers ensure traditional skills are retained at every stage. Here we are all proud to be supporting and promoting the local economy and our customers, in turn, contribute to this and thus the whole cycle is completed.
