ConnectWise, developer of the leading service management software designed exclusively for IT service providers, VARS, ISVs and MSPs, announced today that for the fourth year in a row Linda Catrett Brotherton, CTO, and Jeannine Edwards, Director, ConnectWise Community, have been named in Everything Channel's CRN Magazine's list of the Top women in the Channel.
The list recognizes female executives for their accomplishments over the past year and their impact on the future of the technology industry.
"Now in its 9th annual publication, CRN's 2012 'Women of the Channel' list honors female executives based on their accomplishments over the past year, and their dedication to driving the overall success of the IT Channel," said Kelley Damore, vice president and editorial director at UBM Channel. "This designation is especially important because it recognizes successful and influential women in the IT channel, which has long been considered a male-centric industry. I take great pride in honoring and congratulating these women for their contributions to the industry and their respective organizations."
With more than 25 years of expertise in software development, Linda Brotherton is responsible for the development of the ConnectWise professional service automation (PSA) application and oversees the creation of practical design methods critical to ongoing product enhancements. She has continued to expand on the product's functionality and integration with leading business management software products including managed services applications, financial and accounting systems, quoting and more.
Jeannine Edwards has more than 12 years of B2B business development experience. She and her team develop and manage ConnectWise channel community relationships from both the partner and vendor perspective and identify and provide tools for the ConnectWise community to connect and collaborate with each other and ConnectWise. With a focus on continuing to increase value to partners, Jeannine is also responsible for identifying and managing go-to-market tasks for new initiatives that complement the ConnectWise core product and service offerings.
"We are honored and proud to have such wonderful talent from ConnectWise named to the 2012 'Women of the Channel' list," said ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini.
