BlueStar is pleased to announce President and CEO Steve Cuntz has been added to the AIDC 100, a not-for-profit, self-sustaining, non-political, international organization of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) professionals and others who have significantly contributed to the growth and advancement of the industry.
The organization is a technical and business resource - with emphasis on education - whose primary goal is to enlarge the business community's knowledge and understanding of AIDC. “Steve has always been an active player in the industry and a huge supporter of AIM and its endeavors,” wrote Rick Morgan in SCAN/DCR, an industry newsletter publication. “We’re happy to have [him] on board.”
Under Mr. Cuntz’s leadership, BlueStar has been recognized with numerous awards including Motorola Distributor of the Year, and Star Micronics Distributor of the Year. Steve has been awarded the winner of the prestigious Ernst and Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” designation and has served on the board of the Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility and on the executive committee for the Retail Solutions Providers Association.
Mr. Cuntz has also led BlueStar to numerous business awards such as the “Cincinnati 100” and the Northern Kentucky “Emerging 30.” Most recently, BlueStar was a Cincinnati Business Courier Fast 55 finalist, recognizing 55 of the fastest-growing businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Steve Cuntz earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Xavier University, holds a Master's Degree in Finance, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He was elected to Xavier University's Board of Trustees and also serves as an Advisory Board Member to the university's Williams College of Business. He is Chairman of the Board at BlueStar.
