Grand Prairie, TX, United States, 2006/12/07 - Tripmaster Corporation names Christopher S. Hines CEO. Mr. Hines will continue his duties as President and COO. Current Chairman, R. Geib, will leave Tripmaster day-to-day operations but remain active as a member of the Board of Directors.
Tripmaster Corporation (Member of the Control Instruments Group, Ltd.), is the company that invented onboard computing for the trucking industry back in the 1970’s and has continued to lead in the development of this critically important technology, announced that Chris Hines, a 22 year trucking industry leader will now assume the role of CEO along with his current duties as president and COO.

Hines is past President of GE Capital’s TIP Division (now GE Trailer Fleet Services). He has also held senior positions with Terion, providing trailer-tracking technology, and with Pegasus Transtech, providing imaging based business process and workflow solutions. Just prior to becoming president of Tripmaster, Hines was President and CEO of ATIPICAL HOLDINGS, Inc.; a business focused on asset management, equipment finance, and backroom productivity solutions.
