Interactive Systems, Ashland City Fire and Safety, Patriot Systems and Audio/Video Design Consultants (d.b.a. Current Technologies), have initiated a strategic merger to address the progressive technology needs of both residential and commercial consumers. The companies will unite under the sole banner of Interactive Systems in a single, centralized location. The newly merged company has recently expanded the Interactive Systems corporate headquarters which houses a 2000 sq. foot showroom and state of the art technology throughout.
“We are extremely excited that the Interactive Systems team is continuing to grow while acquiring a wealth of local talent from so many areas across our industry,” stated George Carter, President of Interactive Systems. “We will remain diligently focused on providing the latest and most reliable technology while maintaining high levels of customer service in the commercial and residential arenas. The only thing that changes for us is that we now have more resources, more talent, and more offerings. We are incredibly enthusiastic about our expanded facilities and showroom which we look forward to showcasing for local architects, designers, builders, general contractors, property management firms as well as local home and business owners.”
With this merger and the expansion of their facilities, Interactive Systems can now provide their services to a wider range of customers around the Middle Tennessee region. In addition to growing their central location and building market reach, the merger has allowed Interactive Systems to expand its staff of security and technology professionals.
John Lupear, General Manager of Current Technology will remain with Interactive Systems. “John and his team have done an outstanding job combining former companies including: The Nashville office of Audio Video Excellence (AVX), Allied Home Technologies, and Audio/Video Design Consultants to create a world-class infrastructure to service their customers,” says Carter. “I am appreciative of the dedication and high level of leadership that John has provided.” Lupear will serve as Vice President of the custom audio/video division for Interactive Systems.
Mike White, owner of Ashland City fire will also stay on with the company as well as lead the commercial fire division. “With the addition of Mike White’s expertise we are able to offer our commercial customers a ‘one-stop-shop’. Dealing with one partner for all your install, service, inspections, and maintenance needs is a huge benefit for our clients,” said Keith Thomas, Executive Vice President and C.F.O. at Interactive Systems. “We offer commercial services for fire, access controls, CCTV, IP cameras, gates, networking, security, monitoring, digital signage; along with audio/video solutions for board, conference, and training rooms.”
“We have found that there is a need for better service in the security and technology markets,” stated Thomas. “We know the possibilities for Interactive Systems are limitless as we continue to work diligently, anticipating the ever-changing technology needs of this market, and we remain a dogmatically client-focused business.”
