Symphony Teleca, the global services organization dedicated exclusively to helping clients manage the convergence of software, the cloud and connected devices, today announced its participation in the Telematics Detroit 2012 conference, June 6-7, 2012 at the Suburban Collection Showcase in Novi, MI. The company will demonstrate its most recent software innovations across multiple platforms, including its innovations based on Mobile Linux technology and proprietary platforms such as Microsoft and QNX, which drive solutions for some of the world’s leading brands at the forefront of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI).
Bob Harrison, solutions architect for Symphony Teleca, will host an executive workshop session at the conference on June 6 at 1:30 pm ET, addressing “HTML5 for Automotive – A Solution, Not a Browser.” The session will discuss what it means to adopt HTML5 for developing human-machine interfaces (HMI) in automotive and it will present the deeper considerations and requirements including integration issues and app development.
“The automotive world is changing rapidly, with consumers expecting a greater range of connected in-vehicle services, such as enhanced sensory feedback, real-time information access and superior entertainment capabilities - from video to applications,” said Dean Miles, senior vice president, Automotive, Symphony Teleca. “Symphony Teleca has had great success since last year’s Telematics Detroit, with the addition of several major new automotive customers and partners, as well as the merger between Teleca and Symphony Services, which provides customers with many new solutions and services. At this year’s Telematics Detroit 2012, we will showcase the innovations behind our most recent customer success stories, and demonstrate the ways in which innovative technologies, such as HTML5, will keep the leading brands on the cutting edge.”
