GE Healthcare today announced that Boston Medical Center (BMC) is live on a new version of Centricity Business, an enterprise-wide revenue cycle management solution that helps healthcare providers achieve greater profitability, and efficiency. This latest upgrade provides BMC with enhancements to simplify patient scheduling and registration, while delivering strong interoperability with Centricity EMR, GE Healthcare’s electronic medical records solution. BMC joins a growing number of healthcare organizations that are using GE Healthcare’s clinical and financial solutions to improve revenue cycle performance and enhance patient care.
“BMC has been using Centricity Business for over 10 years to deliver high performance and enterprise-wide revenue cycle growth," said Michelle Gabriel, director of patient access at Boston Medical Center.
“GE Healthcare’s service professionals were committed to BMC’s goals and prepared us with a successful transition to this latest version of Centricity Business. With this upgrade, we now have a common enterprise scheduling suite spanning the entire organization that helps us improve staff productivity, streamline appointments and accelerate revenue collection.”
