Quentin Pain, CEO and founder of Accountz.com Limited, is due to deliver a groundbreaking talk simplifying the ancient art of bookkeeping.
The presentation, which will intriguingly 'demystify bookkeeping with a revolutionary new blueprint', is to be delivered to the FWOA! on Friday 11 May in Wisbech.
FWOA!, or Fenland Women of Achievement, is a networking group aiming to 'empower women in Fenland to set and achieve their goals by holding monthly meetings and generating a mutual support network'. The talk, entitled 'Bookkeeping for Small Business' will take place at Octavia Hill Birthplace House.
One key to this pioneering new model is the switching of traditionally befuddling accounting terms such as 'Credit' and 'Debit' with the more straightforward 'From' and 'To'.
Quentin, Fellow of the International Association of Bookkeepers, stated: "switching two words that have been used for centuries with two modern words is a simple concept, I find it amazing that no one had thought of it before".
This innovative new method, which has 'rewritten the 600 year old pattern of accounting' is outlined in his book 'Accounting for Everyone', available from Amazon.
Accountz (accountz.com) is a British software manufacturing company based in the heart of the Fens. Over the course of the last 25 years it has developed and produced a range of award winning bookkeeping software.
