Callidus Software Inc., the leader in sales effectiveness and cloud computing, announced today the launch of its powerful new mobile learning deployment solution, Rapid Intake mLearning Sync.
“Learning must never stop and it must happen in the midst of the job, not in some remote training room,” said Leslie Stretch, President and CEO, CallidusCloud. “It is, therefore, critical that training be mobile-enabled for today’s current workforce. mLearning Sync enables users to consume training content on mobile devices, online or not, while allowing companies to keep track of actual progress in their training programs. By simplifying access to training and making it measurable, mLearning Sync will enable companies to optimize their talent development initiatives.”
“mLearning Sync is an easy-to-use, self-service platform to deploy mobile training content,” said Garin Hess, Vice President General Manager, Rapid Intake, CallidusCloud. “Course creators can build media-rich courses and assessments using Rapid Intake mLearning Studio, upload them to a secure server and assign them to their target audience. Courses can be downloaded to iPads, iPhones, and Android devices, and reviewed at any time. Managers can keep track of the activity as it happens, in near real-time.”
Key highlights of the solution include:
• Self-service user and course management: Managers create or import learner accounts, create groups of learners, and upload and assign courses from a self-service console.
• Automatic synchronization of learning activity: Offline activity is automatically synchronized to the server, including scores, progress, and time, and made available to managers.
• LMS integration: mLearning Sync can be configured to synchronize tracking information about the progress of learners while corporate Learning Management. SCORM data is passed from mLearning Sync to the current LMS so that all data can be viewed in one location.
• Custom-branding: The mobile app (iPhones, iPads and Android devices) and the self-service user console can be custom branded to customer requirements.
