The Ultimate Marketer contest is one of the most anticipated sessions at InfusionCon each year. The annual contest recognizes customers that have executed successful and creative campaigns using Infusionsoft's all-in-one sales and marketing software. More than 1,400 attendees at InfusionCon 2012 heard the success stories of the four successful Ultimate Marketer finalists competing for the title. They voted and awarded the special designation to Iron Tribe Fitness for their unique approach to growing a cross-fit franchise. Iron Tribe Fitness founder Forrest Walden and vice president of operations and franchise development Jim Cavale shared on stage how Infusionsoft helped them grow net sales 310 percent in less than a year.
Cavale describes the efficiency seen in their business since becoming a customer,“Infusionsoft has allowed us to scale our business model very quickly. We use it to support every operator who wants to run an Iron Tribe Fitness location and help each new location get off the ground with a bang. Our sales and marketing is an automated machine, bringing in qualified leads for our sales team to close.”
With a 250-client cap, per location, Iron Tribe Fitness’ Birmingham, Alabama store sold 250 memberships in less than ten months time. Now with four different locations, Forrest along with Cavale, are working on building a blueprint for franchisees to help duplicate and scale their model across the country. Iron Tribe Fitness competed against three other successful small businesses on stage for the prestigious title of Ultimate Marketer and the grand prizes. Iron Tribe Fitness received an all-paid trip to the Infusionsoft headquarters for a one-day strategy session with Infusionsoft founders Clate Mask and Scott Martineau. Additionally, they won a round-trip, five-day, four-night stay at the Fairmont Kealani in Maui for them and a guest. The first, second and third runner-ups each received cash prizes of $2,000, $1,500 and $1,250. Infusionsoft also picked 25 Industry Innovators demonstrating a smart use of Infusionsoft in their field and they will each win $1,000. The other Ultimate Marketer finalists were:
• 2nd Place: Luc Stokes, founder of the San Diego-based online custom surfboard shop, Degree33 Surfboards, grew his list of leads from 6,000 to 27,000 using Infusionsoft.
• 3rd Place: Meny Hoffman, CEO of the marketing, design and advertising firm Ptex Group based in Brooklyn, grew sales 133 percent.
