OneLogin, the innovation leader in cloud-based identity & access management services, today announced a free plan which allows companies to connect their Active Directory to three cloud-based applications via SAML for free. The plan also includes OneLogin's mobile one-time password app for stronger cloud security.
"We wanted to provide a simple way for IT to move quickly and securely to cloud-based applications," said Thomas Pedersen, founder and CEO of OneLogin. "Today, many companies start with one or two applications in the cloud, but have difficulty integrating those applications into their existing identity management system. The free plan can help them do that in minutes."
OneLogin's free plan allows single sign-on to all SAML-based apps in OneLogin's vast catalog, including Box, Concur, Google Apps, NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Yammer and Zendesk. The included Active Directory integration can be established in minutes without any firewall changes and synchronizes users with OneLogin in real time. Authentication is delegated to Active Directory, which means that AD passwords always stay behind the firewall.
OneLogin's mobile one-time password app provides additional security with a second authentication factor beyond user name and password. The plan also includes unlimited single sign-on for personal sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter and web-based email, as well as applications for individual business use.
Businesses can upgrade from the free plan to OneLogin's identity & access management solutions to add more company-managed cloud applications, user management features, VPN support, desktop sign-on, user provisioning and integration of multiple directories. OneLogin's paid plans start at $1 per user, per month.
Cloud application providers who want to offer OneLogin's free plan to their customers are invited to register at onelogin.com/partners. The cloud apps must be SAML enabled. OneLogin provides free SAML toolkits to enable cloud app providers to quickly enable their apps with SAML. The toolkit is available for Java, .NET, PHP, Python and Ruby.
