Hutto, TX, United States, 2012/03/27 - TouchSystems adds the Sharp 42" and 47" large-format displays integrated with Dispersive Signal Technology to its product offerings - TouchSystems.com.
TouchSystems is pleased to announce the addition of Sharp’s 42” and 47” large-format displays to its list of product offerings. The two displays boast high contrast ratios and high definition displays, both of which contribute to their popularity in high-traffic environments. TouchSystems has integrated the displays with Dispersive Signal Technology (DST), furthering their use and application in such environments.
DST is an optimal touch technology for public spaces because of its durability and reliability. It only becomes more attractive when paired with the Sharp displays since the displays are designed for 24/7 operation. The touch displays boast a number of features that enhance 24/7 operation, such as the scheduler, an internal temperature sensor, and a Power on Delay function. Other elements of note are the displays’ fanless architecture, which cuts down on noise and dust, the slim bezel, and the built-in speakers.
Carol Nordin, president of TouchSystems, believes that the Sharp displays will fit nicely into the TouchSystems’ existing product lines. She says,“They [the Sharp displays] won’t replace any of our product lines, but they do complement them with their different size offerings. In so doing, they help us to continue to provide innovative touch solutions that meet our customers’ needs.”
