Cision, the leading provider of PR software, services and tools for the marketing and PR industry, today announced that users of its award-winning campaign management software can now easily share their stories through Pinterest, the world’s fastest-growing social sharing site.
By clicking the “Pin It” icon on stories that contain images within their Cision Social Publish content, powered by PitchEngine, users can post photographs, artwork and any type of brand imagery that might interest the almost 11 million users of the Pinterest “virtual pin board.”
Pinterest grew by 400 percent during the last four months of 2011 and crossed the 10 million unique monthly U.S. visitors threshold faster than any social media site in history.
“Pinterest fills a unique need in social media. It’s a place where people can share the things they feel passionately about. And Pinterest’s strong appeal to women in the 18-34 demographic – 97 percent of its Facebook fans are women – makes it a tremendous channel to tap into if you are trying to reach young professionals, students, young moms, brides to be, and other dynamic communities,” said Peter Granat, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cision North America.
“By making it easy for our users to connect to communities using Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+ and other top social platforms, we help them tell their stories powerfully, effectively, and creatively,” he said.
Cision’s campaign management software is the recipient of the 2012 CODiE Award as Best Online Business Information Service from the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) and the reigning winner of the CODiE Award for Best Marketing/PR Solution. Cision software has been adopted by over 30,000 users in more than 20 countries since its launch in October 2007. It is available in nine languages and used by 49 of the top 50 PR agencies, corporations, nonprofits, universities and solo practitioners.
