Fármacos Especializados works hand-in-hand with the country’s leading health institutions, laboratories, insurance firms and corporations while distributing its products to a great number of pharmacies across Mexico. One of the principal needs of Fármacos Especializados is having geographical data to analyze the sales and products of the pharmaceutical industry. Information such as company growth, market share and points of purchase appear on a country map for geographical analysis. When combined with geographical data, such indicators offer an outlook of the company’s current position. This not only allows for a detailed analysis of the industry – it is also a way for the company to learn whether all market niches are being penetrated and improve access to them.

During the initial phase, Fármacos Especializados will conduct an analysis on the location intelligence of its business and then use NAVTEQ maps to get the most detailed information available on the market. This will enable it to be more assertive when making decisions based on its Business Intelligence (BI) platform.
