Tampa, FL, United States, 2012/02/09 - AVI-SPL, leading provider of audio video communications solutions, today announced Doug Carnell has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations - AVISPL.com.
In this role, Carnell will focus on enhancing communication with AVI-SPL’s 32+ offices and customers in addition to continuing to promote the high standards and profitable results AVI-SPL has established in its integration group. Carnell will also manage the continued transition of incorporating video capabilities deeper into the company’s business model.

With over 27 years of experience in the AV industry, Carnell has spent the last nine at AVI-SPL in key management roles. He began his AVI-SPL career as the General Manager of the Chicago office, followed by serving as Regional Vice President, overseeing multiple offices. As an integral part of AVI-SPL’s Business Video Group, Carnell was responsible for establishing and developing the company’s Cisco relationship and growing video revenue to almost 45 percent of the total company revenue. Most recently he led AVI-SPL’s Strategic Accounts Team along with Don Mastro, executive vice president, integration sales.
As the EVP of Operations, Doug will report to CEO John Zettel and work out of the Chicago and Tampa offices.
