New York, NY, United States, 2012/02/06 - Kassie Means was named publisher and chief revenue officer of Country Living, it was announced by Patricia Haegele, SVP, publishing director and chief revenue officer of the Hearst Magazines women’s lifestyle group - Country Living.com / Hearst.com.
Means had served as associate publisher of Country Living since February 2010. In her new role, Means will oversee the brand’s advertising and marketing initiatives. The appointment is effective immediately and she will report to Haegele.
From 1996 to 2009, Means served in various roles at Cooking Light, most recently as vice president and associate publisher, a position she held for more than six years, having risen from account manager to eastern sales development director before that. Previously, Means was an advertising representative at Southern Living. She began her sales career at Scholastic and YM.
