New Milton, Hants, United Kingdom, 2011/11/03 - Independent telecare services and security systems provider Cirrus help housing association achieve efficiencies on warden call maintenance and door entry system maintenance on sheltered housing schemes - CirrusCom.co.uk.
Westcountry Housing, which provides affordable homes in Devon and Cornwall, has selected leading independent telecare services and security systems provider Cirrus, as its chosen as provider of door entry system and warden call maintenance.
The housing association, which is part of Westward Housing Group, provides more than 4,500 homes across Devon and Cornwall. The agreement, which is the first time the two organisations have worked together, will see Cirrus manage warden call and door entry system maintenance in all of Westcountry Housing’s 23 sheltered housing schemes, which encompass 1,100 units for older people.
Partnering with Cirrus will enable Westcountry Housing to achieve substantial efficiencies, with the contract value approximately a third less than its previous arrangement.
These efficiencies are achieved thanks to Cirrus’s team of 80-plus field based engineers who support more than 30,000 sites nationally and respond to over 70,000 service calls each year. The economies of scale this provides enabled Cirrus to propose a cost effective maintenance solution that met the client’s requirements without compromising the quality of service.
Karen Johnson, Asset Manager of Westcountry Housing, said,“We selected Cirrus for their quality service and good value they provide. We are delighted to be working with Cirrus on this key area.”
Andy Davey, Managing Director of Cirrus, added: “As an organisation that provides a nationwide service, we are able to offer real value for money to our clients while delivering the solutions they need. We’re looking forward to building a long-lasting partnership with Westcountry Housing.”
