Essen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, 2011/10/31 - HOCHTIEF Solutions AG, have made use of their special right of termination in connection with ACS Actividades de Construcción y Servicios S.A.
Dipl.-Ing. Henner Mahlstedt (57), CEO of HOCHTIEF Solutions AG, and Dipl.- Kfm. Heiner Helbig (54), CFO of HOCHTIEF Solutions AG, have made use of their special right of termination in connection with ACS Actividades de Construcción y Servicios S.A. exceeding the 30 percent shareholding threshold.
The reason for this decision are differing views about the further strategic alignment of the company. A decision on the successors for the two functions will be taken on a short-term basis.
Mr. Mahlstedt and Mr. Helbig successfully built up the business of HOCHTIEF Construction AG from 2005, and later of HOCHTIEF Solutions AG. The Supervisory Board of HOCHTIEF Solutions thanks them for their long years of successful work within the Group.
Furthermore, attorney-at-law Bernward Kulle (48) will leave the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF Concessions AG. Mr. Kulle, by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board, leaves the company because of differing strategic views about the future of the PPP business. The PPP activities will be integrated shortly as a separate segment into HOCHTIEF Solutions AG within the framework of a realignment of the Group. The Supervisory Board of HOCHTIEF Concessions thanks Bernward Kulle for his long years of successful work within the Group.
